Description: Glorious Grace is a substantial, gallery-quality vase carved from a single gourd and finished as a 360° art object. The body is finished in a deep merlot that reads as both warm and refined, providing a dramatic field for texture and pattern. Around the base, a band of hand-applied Ghanaian kente cloth motif—rendered in complementary pigments and layered mixed media—introduces dynamic cultural geometry and tactile contrast. The “neck” is expertly carved to reveal subtle negative-space forms and is enhanced with a precision application of metal leaf, lending a reflective accent that moderates the saturated body color.
